IDLS 2023

The International Datalinks Symposium has been held annually since 2001. It began as a Tactical Datalinks group sponsored by the US Navy and US Air Force Link 16 Program Offices in collaboration with the UK Ministry of Defence. As Link 16 spread, the symposium quickly outgrew the scope of a program office-sponsored conference, and in 2004 the International Data Link Society (IDLS) was established as a non-profit organization with the purpose of providing a forum for Tactical Data Links (TDL ) community and facilitate the running of the annual event.
